Oct 28: INPAWS (link) meeting, 7 p.m., Lilly Nature Center. Ten Years of Amazing Plants at Clegg Gardens. Ed Zschiedrich, photographer and plant lover, will present this program. Ed has visited many natural areas and parks throughout Indiana. One of his favorite haunts is Clegg Gardens. Located on the banks of the Wildcat Creek, this large tract of woods, has a number of native and decorative plants. There are a variety of habitats.
Oct. 30: Wednesdays in the Wild, 1-3 p.m. The Science of Weather Forecasting. Chad Evans, Chief Meteorologist for WLFI (link), will present this program. He will discuss the variables used to figure the forecast and how slight changes in one or more factor can change the forecast.
Oct. 31: INPAWS RIP Squad. 3-5 p.m., Ross Hills Park. Park at the lot near the David Ross House. Dress for the outdoors. Bring loppers, work gloves and expect poison ivy.
