March 19: Wednesdays in the Wild. Purdue Herbarium Tours (link). This is a double header as Nick Harby will do a 1-3 p.m. tour and a 7-9 p.m. The herbarium has over 100 thousand plants, collected from Happy Hollow to the Himalayas and points in between. Some specimens were gathered as early as 1769 to the last week. Nick is the herbarium assistant and an expert on edible species. He also does wild edibles and fungi walks, see below for contact info.

March 22-23: Maple Sugaring Days at Prophetstown (link). Come out to Prophetstown for this excellent program. Click on link for more information.

March 22: Wolf Park, 7.30 p.m. Howl Night. (link)

March 24: INPAWS program meeting, 7 p.m., Lilly Nature Center (link). Program subject to be announced later.
