June21: Downtown Lafayette, Trolley Ride. Catch the trolley at 5th and Main. There are 2 rides scheduled; at 9:40 or 10:40 a.m. This ride is a 50 minute, narrated tour of the downtown area. Free.

June 21: Prophetstown Village in Prophetstown State Park (link), 1-3 p.m. The first day of summer is being celebrated at the Village with a tour of the buildings. Summer foods will be featured along with a prairie hike. The event is free once you are in the park. The park has a $6 gate fee for in state cars, $8 for out of state, or use your gate pass. (available for $40)

June 21: Delphi Canal Park, Kids Day at the Canal (link), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is a free event designed for the kids. There will be lots of machinery and equipment for the kids to explore. Just for the day, kids can ride the Delphi canal boat for free, 2 kids are free with a paid adult ride. The museum will also be open with several interactive exhibits. While you are at the park, you can drop by Noble Bikes (link) and rent a surrey to visit in style. They also have paddle boats and kayaks.
