Downey, CA: One of the most heartbreaking sights in recent days was this little Miniature Pinscher whose owners dumped her at the very high kill Downey shelter.
She went to sleep in her empty food bowl at the shelter. Her cell is freezing cold and she is trying to stay warm. There really are no words to describe these horrors occurring in the nation's shelters day after day.
This little one's picture says it all and makes a statement about conditions and treatment of American pets.
Please share this story in hopes that a good home can be found in time to save her life before it is too late.
