Tina Turner is fine - because Oprah said so

Tina Turner was rumored to have had a stroke at her home in Zurich, Switzerland, but Oprah Winfrey says not so, according to a WebProNews report on Saturday night.

The topic of Tina Turner, the 74-year-old singer who brought the world “Proud Mary” and “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” and her health was addressed on social media – Twitter – by the famed and fortuned talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey struck down the Turner stroke rumor by posting a comment which said that Tina Turner had a bad flu weeks ago, but she has recovered. She went on to assert that Turner is living life. Oprah also said that Turner sent her a single long-stem red rose for her birthday.

Turner is now a permanent resident of Switzerland. That’s where Winfrey had an experience with racism not long ago when a clerk at a handbag store apparently insulted Winfrey by suggesting that she should look at handbags that cost less than the one she was looking at. Needless to say, the clerk didn’t know who Oprah Winfrey is – or how much money she’s got.
