According to an article by the LA Times on September 9, Tina Fey will host the season premiere with musical guest Arcade Fire. This is the show that launched Fey’s career, and fans are excited to see her back for the premiere.
Tina Fey made several milestones with “Saturday Night Live.” She became the first female head writer of the show, and was able to launch a career for herself on television. Her show, “30 Rock” ended this year, but she has already sold another show to the network and it will air this fall.
Season 39 of “Saturday Night Live” already has Miley Cyrus lined up for the October 5 show to both host and perform. There will be plenty of VMA performance jokes that night. Bruce Willis is set to host on October 12 with musical guest Katy Perry. This season will be full of fun and surprises. Tune in to the Season 39 premiere September 28 at 10:30 CST on NBC.
