Tina Fey says 'no way': Not even a one in a million chance of hosting the Oscars

Tina Fey has said 'no way' to hosting the Oscars, The Huffington Post reports on Feb. 27, 2013. The 42-year-old actress, comedian, writer and producer said in an interview, "I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... no way." When asked if there was at least a "one in a million chance," Fey responded, "I wish I could tell you there was."

Some may consider Tina's response to hosting the Oscars an odd one, particularly since she and Amy Poehler got positive reviews for their hosting of the 2013 Golden Globes. As Glamour magazine wrote, "When was the last time you giggled aloud at an awards-show monologue? These two hit the ground running with so-good-you-CAN'T-be-mad-Kathryn-Bigelow gems like 'When it comes to torture, I'll trust the woman who spent three years married to James Cameron.'" Although Fey and Poehler are awesome together, most would agree that Tina is perfectly capable of carrying the job of award show host on her own.

The talented Fey is known for many accomplishments, including creating "30 Rock." The TV comedy ended on Jan. 31, 2013 after seven seasons and many awards.
