Tina Fey was a guest on "Inside The Actors Studio" on Tuesday night and broke a recent vow of never doing her Sarah Palin impression again.
The segment, published to YouTube on March 20, 2013, shows why. The joke is just as fresh today as when she blew up the world nearly five years ago with her uncanny likeness to the VP candidate.
Fey wrote in her bestselling book, "Bossypants" that she wanted to drop the Palin impression because she didn't care to be perceived as gutting the former Governor of Alaska for laughs or money. Obviously, that's over.
James Lipton elicits the "30 Rock" star's well-honed improvisational talent by posing questions to the Palin character, and Tina Fey delivers, with quick, funny barbs addressing same-sex marriage, guns and gender equality.
It's much better to watch and listen, so there's no use spoiling the punch lines. Suffice to say, Sarah Palin is back.
And funnier then ever.
