Tina Fey reacted to the fact that Taylor Swift was upset over her and fellow host, Amy Poehler’s jokes regarding her love life. While co-host Poehler apologized for her comments, Tina Fey doesn’t have any plan too.
Taylor Swift raged about the incident at the Golden Globes in an interview with Vanity Fair. And quoting Katie Couric, who quoted Madeleine Albright by saying, “there is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight the 30 Rock star brushed off Swift’s complaints and defended her comedy act the night of the Golden Globes where she hosted alongside funny lady Amy Poehler.
Fey stated, “If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke.”
There won’t be any apology coming from Tina Fey so Swift will have to settle for Amy Poehler’s response. Poehler said, “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl.”
“That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons, mostly boring tax stuff.”
