Tina Fey ‘no way’ has become a trending topic on search engines this evening after USA Today reported this Wednesday, Feb. 27, that Tina Fey has said she is not going to host the 2014 Oscars next year (with or without Amy Poehler), despite being nominated for the position by quite a few fans already.
Both Tina and Amy were hits hosts for the Golden Globes, but the Tina Fey ‘no way’ headline certainly makes it seem that the funny female comedian is not interested in trying her hand as an Oscars host in the next few years, at least.
After being asked whether it would be possibly she might consider hosting the 2014 Oscars with close friend and fellow comedian Amy Poehler, Tina Fey gave a quick and certain response.
“But I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman — the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... no way."
The interviewer replied, "It's disappointing to hear 'No way.' I was hoping for at least 'a one in a million chance.' "
Tina Fey smiled and said, "I wish I could tell you there was."
