On Sept. 9, 2013 "Saturday Night Live" gave fans their first look at the upcoming season by announcing that Tina Fey will be hosting the premiere episode on Sept. 28, 2013 with Arcade Fire joining the fun as musical guest. This will be Fey's third time hosting the sketch comedy series since she left the cast in 2006. Arcade Fire will also be making their third appearance as musical guest, although they made an additional appearance as Mick Jagger's backing band in 2012.
Tina Fey recently sold a comedy about an all female college to Fox and a work place sitcom to NBC. According to the Los Angeles Time, she will not be acting in either show, but she will be producing the shows with her “30 Rock” co-showrunner Robert Carlock. New music from Arcade Fire's upcoming album “Reflektor” will be released later today. The Canadian indie-rockers have also been confirmed as writing music for Spike Jonze's new movie “Her.”
Who else do you want to see host the 39th season of "Saturday Night Live?"
