Heat Vision learned some wild news yesterday about an upcoming action movie called “Heatseekers.”
The extremely crazy story follows a young ex-military pilot who infiltrates a gang of aerial pirates working out of Bangkok and takes part in an elaborate tower heist using powered gliders and parachutes.
What mad duo could possibly tackle such a ridiculous premise? Michael Bay (“The Rock”) and Timur Bekmambetov (“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”), that’s who!
Timur is set to direct the action flick with Bay on as a producer through his Platinum Dunes studio, and it is sure to be filled with unnecessary CGI and over-the-top explosions to fit right in as a summer 2014 release.
The script has been likened to the “Fast & Furious” franchise and “Point Break” in tone and pacing, and if they can get a kick-ass action star to helm it (I hear Gerard Butler is in need of some help) then I think we got it made as movie fans.
