The 30-year-old Bradley (30-0-0-1, 12 KOs) is slated to defend the WBO welterweight belt against the 40-year-old Marquez (55-6-1, 40 KOs) on Saturday at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Marquez last exited the squared circle in December after brutally knocking Manny Pacquiao onto Queer Street.
Conversely, “Desert Storm” most recently vacated the ring on March 16 with a narrow unanimous decision win over Ruslan Provodnikov.
Although graying, Marquez is a badass Mexican and relentless bruiser.
To offset Marquez’s ruggedness, Bradley must utilize his blazing hand speed and elite footwork.
Provided the champion isn’t lured into a slugfest, Bradley should outscore Marquez to remain an undefeated titlist.
