Timothy Bradley returns to action on March 16

WBO welterweight titlist Timothy Bradley (29-0, 12 KOs), who has been out of action since a controversial split decision win over Manny Pacquiao last year, is set to return to the ring on March 16.

Bradley will be defending his title against Ruslan Provodnikov (22-1, 15 KOs0 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Top Rank is set to hold a press conference on Wednesday to officially announce the fight.

Also in action that night will be former two-time Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez (2-0, 2 KOs) in a six-round featherweight bout against an opponent to be named.

The card will be televised on HBO World Championship Boxing.
