Timothy Bradley claims Manny Pacquiao no longer has ‘that killer instinct’

Timothy Bradley told Fight Hype on Sunday that Manny Pacquiao no longer has “that killer instinct.”

Bradley (31-0-0-1, 12 KOs) is set to defend the WBO welterweight title versus the 35-year-old Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KOs) on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In their initial bout in June 2012, Bradley unwittingly stole Pacquiao’s crown when criminally incompetent judges handed him a split decision.

Pacquiao most recently exited the squared circle in November after universally outscoring Brandon Rios to capture the WBO international welterweight belt.

Displaying elite footwork and the uncanny ability to deliver punches from all angles, Pacquiao peppered the 27-year-old Rios (31-2-1, 23 KOs) with brilliant combinations that left “Bam Bam” bruised, cut and swollen.

“Yeah, he didn’t have that killer instinct in that Rios fight,” said Bradley, 30, who courageously continued to battle Pacquiao with a fractured left foot and severely sprained right ankle. “I don’t think he’s going to engage that much, man.”

“Desert Storm,” who outworked Juan Manuel Marquez in October, is quick, aggressive and fearless.

Unfortunately for Bradley, despite being an extremely formidable prizefighter, he possesses feathery fists and is incapable of hurting Pacquiao.

Plus, considering the revenge factor, Pacquiao will be supremely prepared for a sequel with Bradley.

Expect Manny Pacquiao “to engage” with Timothy Bradley and emerge victorious via the cards this spring in “Sin City.”
