The Timon Little Theatre presents the Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman comedy “You Can’t Take It With You.” This three-act play focuses on two very different families, the Sycamore’s and the Kirby’s, who have very different values, creating an interesting perspective on the value of love and care and who is really unusual in life.
The Timon Little Theatre production was provided a unique opportunity this year. There were an extraordinary number of students who auditioned for this year’s production that two casts were assembled. The role of Penny Sycamore is played by Midge Bishop and Dominique Smith; grandpa is portrayed by Dominic Hannon and Scott Driscoll; Alice is played by Katie Hayes and Emma English; and Jon Nguyen plays the role of Alice’s boyfriend, Tony Kirby Jr. Bob Maggio, ’73, is the director/producer and Jerry Kegler, ’73, is the technical director.
“You Can’t Take It With You” will be presented at 7:30 p.m. March 14, 15 and 16 with a 2:30 p.m. matinee performance March 17. Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for students. For ticket reservations call 826-3610 ext. 241.
