Opening Reception for Timeless Mexico: The Photographs of Hugo Brehme

Reception: Friday, 6:00 pm at the Latino Cultural Center

On loan from the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University- San Marcos, Timeless Mexico: The Photographs of Hugo Brehme features 60 real photo postcards and hand-tinted photographs of early twentieth-century Mexico. One of that country's first modern photographers, Brehme focused on iconic subjects ranging from the Mexican Revolution to scenic landscapes, colonial architecture, and the everyday life of indigenous peoples.

Opening reception on January 18, is free and open to the public. Exhibition on display January 18 through March 3, 2013.
