Time Warp

For two days, on the beautiful grounds of Stewart Hall Cultural Centre, visitors are invited to time warp to the medieval times. The Cultural Rendez-Vous 2010 was set to a back drop that invited youngsters to make their own crowns, necklaces and puppets. However, if they are not the creative types, they can still sport some colour by getting their faces painted.

Children could also experience fencing with foam swords after seeing it done for real by the Bateleurs du Bout du Monde. On display were the arms used in Medieval times, though these were for show only. A fire eater, singers and other performers all added to the festive atmosphere of the first day of the event.
