Time Warner Cable recently announced that it'll be holding a special contest this month for families called 3-2-1 Pledge! Sweepstakes. In commemoration of its philanthropic Connect a Million Minds initiative, in which it helps connect youngsters to the wonders of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), TWC invites the public to win a chance for a free trip to either New York City or Los Angeles. The trip will let one lucky family of four to visit either the Space Shuttle Enterprise in NYC or Space Shuttle Endeavor in LA.
For NYC families interested in winning that special trip to LA, here's how to enter. First, participants should visit TWC's Connect a Million Minds website. Next, visitors should make a Connect a Million Minds pledge, in which they promise to connect young people in their lives to hands-on learning opportunities in STEM. They will then be entered into the sweepstakes. CAMM recently celebrated its 3rd-year anniversary and met its goal halfway, by connecting 500,000 young minds to the STEM fields.
Legal residents from throughout the U.S. are eligible to enter, but they must be 18 years or older. The contest winner will be announced the first week of March. For entry details and official rules and/or to take the pledge and enter, please visit the Connect a Million Minds website. Entries can be submitted from now until February 28 at 12 p.m. EST and there is no purchase necessary.
