Time to vote for the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards

Voting is already underway for the 2013 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. This year features some new faces as well as a lot of familiar artists. The award show is scheduled for January 27, 2013 at the Madison Theater but you can vote for your favorite acts on CityBeat.com through January 15.

It has been a huge year for Cincinnati music. There have been national releases by the Pomegranates, Bad Veins and Foxy Shazam. 500 Miles from Memphis has had national touring success and there have been other local and regional success stories coming from bands like Kentucky Struts.

Some of the new faces to the awards have been around for some time but, for whatever reason, are just getting some recognition. Ryan Broshear is one of the new faces and his Nashville produced album has been well received locally and on the Internet.

Some of the familiar names included this year are The Seedy Seeds and Dallas Moore. It is amazing to consider how many local bands this year had an impact on the music festivals nationally.

Congratulations to all of the nominees and if you are ready to vote for your favorites, go to CityBeat.com and check out the 15 available categories, and I will see you at the awards.
