Time to start cat grass indoors in Spokane

Cats often nibble on plants or grass.  Many Spokane green thumbs have informed us that they are simply satisfying an actual craving and there is a perfect plant for that desire.

True, some cats are more attracted to nibbling on grass than others, if yours is one that does, you should be careful about permitting your cat to go outside to crunch away.  Lawns and other outside plants are frequently treated with pesticides, fertilizers, or insecticides that are noxious to felines.

If your cat isn't able to gratify his/her hankering for grass outside, he/she may turn to gnawing on your houseplants.  Regrettably, not only might this be unwelcome, but it may be lethal.  Many houseplants can be very dangerous or deadly to your cat regardless if whether they have been chemically treated.

A clear-cut and trustworthy solution to satisfy your feline’s passion for grass is growing cat grass. Cat grass is a type of cereal grass such as wheat or oat that can be grown indoors and fed to your cat.  Growing cat grass is painless!  It grows rapidly and is very undemanding to tend. Growing your own supply of greens will assure you that your cat eats only healthy organic grass.

Cat grass adds roughage to your cat's diet giving health benefits such as adding fiber and vitamins to your cat's diet which are fundamental to the complete health of your cat.  It also aids in eliminating hairballs, while at the same time gratifies your cat’s yen for greens.  It can steer your cat away from dangerous plants too.

Cat grass can be purchased at most nurseries right here in Spokane.
