Time to Re-evaluate your New Year’s Resolution fitness goals for 2013

The one thing you should being doing by now is sitting down and evaluating your health and fitness goals. It is February, and you have been in your fitness program for over the last month or even longer. You have set goals for yourself to lose weight and to start becoming more active and healthier through exercise and nutrition, but the key goal of this article is: Have you been reaching your goals?
It does not matter if you are going through the phases of consistency of health and fitness and think you are reaching your goals of weight loss and becoming healthier, but the simple fact is to sit back and start to evaluate yourself and then re-evaluate yourself.
Start off by looking at the goals you have written down and how you were going to achieve them from the previous article. Look back at the previous article that was published and ask yourself the questions of how is your physical health and did you consult with a doctor first if you were not in good health.
If you were in a good health condition, did you start an aerobic base program that established a heart rate for cardiovascular health and body fat reduction, along with endurance and did you take part in a weight training program that will help build muscle and help lower body fat as well. That is great if you started taking part in these programs, but are you adhering to them, that is the question.
The next step is to look if you have lost at least six pounds over the last month, and if you have not, then it is time to re-evaluate your fitness program. You will need to sit down and start to perhaps redefine your goals by coming to terms with your nutrition and consult with a nutritionist or dietitian and consult with a well educated health science professional that designs exercise programs for your unique goals whether it is weight loss or sports specific training.
The key thing to understand is to stay focused on your health and fitness goals and never give up. There are many well educated health professionals out there to educate you, but you must execute your dream of fitness and always follow through and keep a vision of what you are striving for and keep going for it no matter what.
