With the 2014 Coachella and Stagecoach events barely over in Indio, many still recovering their finances and resting up after all that partying, Goldenvoice has just announced via press release that Coachella 2015 will be on sale this Friday, May 16 at 10 A.M. Pacific Standard Time. General admission passes will be sold for $375 per person. It is certain that passes will sell out within a few hours.
Coachella will still be held over over two weekends. Coachella 2015 Weekend 1 will be held April 10, 11, 12. Coachella 2015 Weekend 2 is planned for April 17, 18, 19. People can create accounts in anticipation of purchasing passes. And only 2 passes can be purchased for each account. Unfortunately, this means you can't buy a block of tickets for you and your friends. You will have to get all of your friends to establish accounts so you can all buy tickets. These controls are meant to protect people from unscrupolous scalpers.
According to Goldenvoice, this Friday will be the only opportunity to take advantage of the Coachella Payment Plan, which allows those cash-strapped concert-goers to pay in installments without finance charges. This comes with several caveats, so please be sure to read the fine print, and make sure you have a reliable credit card or bank account for Goldenvoice to pull their autopayments.
Please visit www.Coachella.com for more information and to sign up for you account. And if you miss out on pre-sale passes, your next chance to buy will be when the lineup is announced. But, seriously, does it even matter who is going? There will always be a great show no matter who is there.
