Time is running out to register for Historic Columbia's summer camp program. The camp will focus on U.S., Presidents.

Travel through time at Historic Columbia's Presidential Summer Camp. Experience Columbia's presidential history through crafts, games and activities. From George Washington's visit in 1791 to modern presidents and candidates, campers will connect South Carolina's capital city to the national capital and get to know our commanders-in-chief by exploring the Woodrow Wilson Family Home and discovering presidential personalities and interests, such as Woodrow Wilson's love of baseball and role-playing as a British admiral.

Historic Columbia offers two summer camp sessions: June 23-27 and July 7-11. Camp days run 9 am to 4 pm. Cost of camp is $160 for member youth and $200 for non-member youth.

Register by phone at 803.252.1770 x 36 or by email at jquint@historiccolumbia.org. Click here for a registration form and summer camp waiver.

The Woodrow Wilson Family home recently reopened after a 9 year restoration. The house was the home of the Wilson family from 1872-1874. In addition to showcasing the life of the young Woodrow Wilson (then known as Tommy) it also focuses on the effects of Reconstruction following the Civil War.
