Time is running out for these three dogs in Maury County (Photos)

Every day brings new adoption challenges for the Maury County Shelter in Columbia. And this week the challenge is to find homes for three beautiful dogs that have very few days left. Their time runs out at the end of the week.

Kringle is a black and white border collie mix. According to a rescue volunteer, "his owner fell on tough times and could no longer afford him. Kringle had known love and attention and all the good things that a dog should know.. He doesn't understand why his life was ripped out from under him. And now so unfairly, he is sitting on death row. I met this boy and he is a good dog. He is a smaller dog, very eager to please and very loving. He did fine with my 6 year old little girl as well. He deserves a chance to know love and attention." This little guy is only 6 months old.

Heather is an adorable brown boxer mix. The volunteered offered this information on her. "This girl is really just a love bug... All she wanted to do was cuddle in my lap and get loved on. She is a sweetheart who has become SUPER URGENT at the shelter." Heather is also about 6 months old.

Shiloh is almost a year old and a hound mix. She has the cutest markings with a "bulls-eye" around her eye. In her evaluation it was stated, "She is a strong girl but super sweet. She had so much fun playing outside."

Anyone interested in one of these dogs is encouraged to call Donna at 931 375-1402 or visit them in person right away!

Shelter hours are Tuesday-Friday 11:00AM-5:00PM. The cost is $75 to adopt a loving pet.
