Chicagoan students can learn to manage time better through upcoming webinars.
The goal is to help students with the ability to manage time which juggling classes, work, social lives and stress.
According to the American College Health Association, in 2012 more than 40 percent of college students have felt more than an average amount of stress within the past 12 months.
A key objective of the webinar is to maximize the learning experience for all those participate.
During the webinars, attendees will be able to interact with the speaker. Students will be able to ask questions and or comment in regards to the content. Also, all those who log in and participate will receive a "Time Management Kit" that will be e-mailed to them after the webinar.
The webinars will done on Friday, August 1st at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and on Sat., Aug. 2, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. More dates may be added based on popular demand.
The webinar registration fee is $40. However, students who are currently enrolled in college are eligible for a 20 percent discount and should use the coupon code, “COLLEGE14.” Space is limited so advance registration and payment is required.
According to the organization’s Facebook page, Elite Life Skills is “a life skills coaching organization that provides coaching in anger issues, assertiveness issues, drug recovery, relationships, women's issues, etc.”
