Bust out the lederhosen, shine up your stines. It's Oktoberfest time- heaven for all beer drinkers. September 24th and 25th the Court Avenue District will be celebrating with this year's theme "Möre German Zan Ever". The last two years it's been at Principal Park, but bringing it back to Court Ave will surely give the event more exposure.

The beer drinking fest starts at 4pm on the 24th with the tapping of the Golden Keg, but there's a lunch time pre-party in Nollen Plaza with polka dancers, authentic bratwurst from the Hessen Haus and root beer from the Court Avenue Brewing Company.

$10 gets you in, with your complimentary collectible mug and one drink ticket. Bring your mug with you the next day to get in free. Learn polka dancing, eat great German food and try a variety of different beers. Friday night's feature event is the Bier Maiden contest, and Saturday night get ready for the Wet Bier Gut contest.
