Time for law abiding gun owners to stand and fight for their 2A rights

It's no secret that the recent mass shootings are being used and manipulated to slowly erode, gnaw at and diminish the 2nd Amendment.

The Diane Feinstein's and Mike Bloomberg's of this country essentially want to neuter the 2nd Amendment so it's essentially just a privilege in name only, not a Right as guaranteed by our Bill of Rights. President Barack Hussein Obama has initiated 23 Executive Orders, which potentially could put 2A rights on a very slippery slope and blur the lines of HIPPA laws and personal health information (PHI) as it relates to gun ownership.

Now more than ever, each and every law abiding gun owner needs to stand up and be heard. That action can take many shapes and forms. Recently there have been a host of states where Guns Across America rallies have been organized and citizens have exercised their 1st Amendment right to support their 2nd amendment right! Bravo!!

One common theme that you will consistently hear from the gun control folks is that there are "sensible" and "common sense" ways to restrict your rights. That they will take a "Fair & Balanced" approach and look at all the factors effecting violence, shootings and mental health in our society. That's great rhetoric and hyperbole yet that's not what they are doing or proposing. Actions speak louder than words!

Now it's time for the law abiding gun owners to take action!

Let's do some simple and basic Math:

There are approximately 80 million gun owners in the United Staes although that number has probably been increased quite substantially here lately as firearm sales are exponentially growing. The Unites States population is about 315 million according to the US & World Population Clock.

Number of guns and gun owners in USA according to wiki.answers.com:
Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun (that's about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million.

Removed those that skew the stats for their own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of American households owning 260 million guns).

Basically there are a lot of legal, law abiding gun owners in this country! The majority of these people have never nor will they ever use a gun to commit a crime. We have heard in the main stream media that the oh so powerful NRA lobby is a behemoth and throws it's weight around with reckless abandon as Rosie O'donnell has stated publicly. Again she states as you were earlier warned, "sensible" gun laws and "sensible legislation". She slams the gun lobby and says we are "Strong, Organized and Scary." That's right! The gun lobby is us, the citizens and law abiding gun owners. I am the gun lobby, you are the gun lobby too! Did you know that? She also says that they want a gun registry! Watch this Scary VIDEO.

The NRA membership across the United States is approximately at about 4.5 million which is about what percentage.....are you ready??

ONLY 1.4% of the entire US Population!!

Yes 1.4%! Rosie O'Donnell says that 1.4% of the US population is that Powerful and that Scary! Can you just imagine if the NRA membership got to 10% or even better 50%?

The real crime here is just that....that only 1.4% of the US population and many that are law abiding gun owners actually belong to the most powerful and scary gun lobby according to Rosie O'Donnell. Did I mention she has armed security guards? Guess guns are OK when they are there to protect her and her children. Such Hypocrisy!

In her ideal scenario, “you are not allowed to own a gun, and if you do own a gun I think you should go to prison.”

But in the midst of all Rosie’s anti-gun rhetoric she failed to mention something very important: one of her own bodyguards had applied for a gun permit!

That’s right. Besides being a liberal loon, Rosie O’Donnell is a Grade A hypocrite.

Initially she suggested that her bodyguard had been prompted by the company he represented to apply for the license. Later she admitted that she did feel that she and her family needed to be protected from—who else—Second Amendment advocates. (Paranoid much?) In one of many attempts to explain her use of a bodyguard, she said, “I chose to have a ‘bodyguard’ for my children.” More HERE.

The enemies list of the NRA is long and deep, including Rosie O'Donnell which is a clear cut indication that they work hard to support you....the law abiding gun owner. These are just some of the bigger ones nationally but there may be local ones in your city and state that you can join and get involved in too. Every gun owner needs to be engaged.
