Houston's tragic death Saturday in Los Angeles is generating even more interest in the 2012 Grammy Awards set to broadcast tonight.
The 2012 54th annual Grammy Awards show will be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. If you are going, allow plenty of extra time for traffic in the area. But if you are like most of us and can't go, you can of course, watch on TV.

What time are the Grammys?
The show will be broadcast tape-delayed for those of on the west coast. The show airs locally here in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, February 12, on KPIX, Channel 5, 8-11 p.m. PST. If you are on the east coast, you can watch the show live also 8-11 p.m. So if you don't want to know who won the various awards in advance, don't talk to your friends on the east coast and stay off the Internet until the show is over.

But once again, here in the San Francisco Bay Area the 2012 54th annual Grammy Awards show begins on Sunday at 8 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. PST. The time is the same if you are watching on the east coast. The Grammys are live on the east coast and tape-delayed in the west. The Grammys have also been known to run overtime, so it's possible that the Grammy show could run past 11 p.m., in which case your local TV newscast will be late.
