Time again to Fall for the Arts on Cape Cod, October 2011

Beach season is winding down but the Cape is still the place to be this October. The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s 2011 Fall for the Arts festival introduces visitors to the breadth and depth of the Cape’s artistic community. With more than 125 events, exhibits, musical performances, kids activities, and guided walks for both art and history lovers, visitors will have trouble finding time to walk the beaches.

Choose from seven different Cape and Islands Arts and Artisan Trails

A great way to get a taste of the Cape Cod art world is to visit various venues along the Fall for the Arts trails. Each trail directs you to individual artists and artisans in different sections of the Cape and Islands, a fun way to explore a discrete portion of the Cape. October is also peak fall foliage time on Cape Cod so plan your travels to take in the beauty of the changing season.

The trails also direct you to major music, theatre and art venues in the area offering special events during the month. Choose from art activities for kids, musical events and guided walks. Or plan on an evening of theater with the Woods Hole Theater Company, the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (WHAT) or Cotuit Center for the Arts.
