Monique Mosley has filed for divorce from Timbaland, and she is asking for child support and alimony. The Los Angeles Times reports on Oct. 17 that Timbaland’s wife wants support for both of her children. Although Timbaland is not the father of her oldest child, Mosley claims he has treated the child as his own.
Timbaland and Mosley got married five years ago, but Mosley explains they were together for longer than this period. She claims Timbaland treated her son from a previous relationship as his own. Now, she wants child support for both her son and the daughter she had with the rapper.
Timbaland has received a long list of demands from his wife. She wants child support, alimony, legal support and life insurance. Her list also includes vacations, camps and private schools. Mosley wants Timbaland to continue supporting the same lifestyle for her and her children.
The rapper is reported to be worth $80 million, and it does not appear that he signed a prenup with Mosley. She has a strong chance of getting her requests without a prenup. Mosley mentions she had to borrow money to pay a lawyer for the divorce filing. She claims she does not have any income and requires alimony.
Timbaland is not talking about the divorce and is focusing on his music. He recently revealed on Twitter that he is in Paris for a concert.
