For the second year, Tim Tebow will be speaking at a Texas church in April. This year he will be at the controversial First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Tebow will speak to the 11,000 member church during the April 28 Sunday morning service. Tebow made a questionable decision to appear at the hate-spewing church.
Rev. Robert Jeffress, pastor of the church, is well-known for his stand against Barack Obama, gays and other religions. Jeffress claims that Islam, Judaism and Mormonism are religions “from the pit of hell.”
Robert Jeffress has stated that “70 percent of the gay population” has AIDS. He went so far as to insist that gay activists of trying “to hide the link between homosexuality and pedophilia.”
This so-called preacher of god warned his congregation last November that “President Obama’s reelection would lead to a rise of the anti-Christ.”
Last Easter, Tim Tebow spoke to over 30,000 people at Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas. During the service, Tebow said, “its okay to be outspoken about your faith. First and foremost it is what this country was based on, one nation under God.”
