Tim Tebow is not a happy camper.
A season removed from an improbable playoff run with the Denver Broncos, Tebow finds himself in the eye of the New York storm that is a brewin' after the season is over monday.
Head coach Rex Ryan has continually passed over Tebow as a QB option for the hapless Jets. Instead Ryan continues to ride the embarrassing Mark Sanchez into yonder. Sanchez has produced a career's worth of low lights in 2012 with his bumbling play. Sanchez has 50 turnovers in the past 2 seasons, the most of any player in the NFL.
Why does Rex Ryan continue to hang his hat on Sanchez? Management gave Sanchez a ridiculous contract and it looks like Ryan will have him around for at least 2013, his hands are tied by mis-management. Tim Tebow will be on his way out the door at seasons end.
Tim Tebow deserves a chance to play in the NFL and his hometown Jacksonville Jaguars might be the fit he needs.
The Jags new owner Shahid Khan is a big time fan of Tebow. With a built in fan base and a relentless desire to will his team to win, Tebow is a natural fit in Jacksonville, a team looking for a winner and a warrior. Teammates throughout the NFL have lauded Tebow's ability to lead and sheer will to win, he deserves a chance to play.
Look for the Jets to release Tebow in the next few weeks and look for him to sign with the Jags. This is a virtual certainty.
