After all the hoopla over Tim Tebow's Super Bowl commercial -- with news outlets suggesting that Tebow's mother would mention the fact that some people wanted her to have an abortion, the YouTube.com video list below seems both tame and powerful all at once.

"I call him my miracle baby," says Pam, Tim Tebow's mother, in the Super Bowl ad that doesn't mention the words "abortion" nor "pro-life" in the ad, only ending with the words "Celebrate Life."

"He almost didn't make it into this time. I can remember so many times I almost lost him," she continued, "it was so hard."

The video ends with Tebow hugging his mother, who calls him her "Timmy" -- a guy that everyone treats so special, she says.

"Get the full story on FocusontheFamily.com" reads the end of the ad.

Update: See the version of Tim Tebow's ad where he "tackles" his mom here on Focus on the Family's website...

    wonderful commercial - loved it!

The 30 second message was very powerful despite it did not mention abortion or pro-life. I have gone through the procedure before knowing Jesus Christ as my savior. It was terrible. It is only through Jesus Christ that I can face each day and truly know the slate has been clean and I am a new person. I pray for those who face this challenge and pray they will encounter a Believer to help them to see that God truly loves them and even if this seems like the end of the world for them, it will be ok. Just trust God to lead you.

Rebecca - God has forgiven you, through Jesus our Savior.

This ad was wonderful. It did not mention the words "pro-life" or "abortion". I truly think that Planned Parenthood should have watched the ad before they criticized it, because there really isnt anything wrong with it. It had such a POWERFUL message, and didn't take away the choice of women to have an abortion, like Planned Parenthood and other pro-choice organizations said it did. Truly a great commercial, one of the better Super Bowl Commercials I have seen. :)

I loved this commercial and I hope others will be bold and brave enough to do more like them. I am so proud of Tim and his family

The funny thing is that if Pro-Choice groups didn't stir up such a big issue, this add would NEVER have gotten such "play". Now A LOT of people are going to go to website to see rest of story.

I saw NOTHING wrong with ad and applaud Mrs. Tebow on making difficult choice.

    Nice commercial.

Whether the commercial talked about abortion or pro-life, it doesn't matter, it was PAID for by a group that is pro-life and against a woman's right to choose for her own self what is better and right for her own body and life. Imagine if FotF had it's way and choice were taken out of our world, then Tim Tebow's mother would never have had the CHOICE to keep her son.

    Choice is a powerful thing!

I found nothing wrong with the ad itself. I am glad that she had a choice and the decision she made worked out well for her.

My problem is that this organization refuses to let women who want a choice have a choice. Jesus Christ or the government both need to stay the hell out of a peoples personal lives.

Pro-abortion folks are missing the true issue on the abortion debate. It truly is about choice, but the choice is whether individual citizens of a state can choose to make it illegal or not. The federal government took that power away from the states and the people in Roe V. Wade. We have no choice.

  • Sal 2 years ago

She made the only legal choice. At the time of her pregnancy, abortion was not legal in the Phillipines, where he was born... What proselytizing! What crap !

Weather your for it or against it--it comes down to freedom of speech. that's what makes this country so great!! and ps lay of tim and his family--hes a good kid from a good family that seems to be forgotten in all this--

I don't understand why there is so hateful people against pro-life commercials or pro-life movement. Looks like the only choice a baby has in the pro-choice world is death. Because if the mother choose life, she is wrong, oh yeah, the women who choose abortion they have a menu of choices; vacuum aspiration, saline solution, partial birth abortion, etc. but in that list life is not a choice. Even dogs take care of their puppies. But for some women a baby is just a mistake created on a Friday night after having a blast at the club or erase the result of an infidelity. I don't want to be in your shoes at the moment to be in front of GOD.

    TERRIFIC VIDEO!
    GREAT PERSONAL STORY!
Forces the HATERS to see their own SHALLOW, DEPRAVED, AND MURDEROUS VALUES that endorses choosing selfish and personal convenience over allowing a baby to live. TAKE THAT Planned Parenthood (over One Billion Dollars in revenue for each of the past 3 years - yeah, of course profit and money are involved) and the moronic National Organization of (stupid and deluded) Women.

I lived in Colo Spgs where FOF holds sway. These people are misogynist and violent (one of the cabal us in King Soopers and asked my husband and me 'if we had found Jesus' - my husband quipped 'is he missing?'? We were followed home by FOF ghouls, threatened and when we came home the next day pamphlets with hate-speech were tacked to our door.
CBS's error was not being hypocritcal - they rejected countless progressive groups but chose to air this duplicitous ad (Tebow's mom didn't make a "tough decision" - abortion is illegal in the Philippines to this day!) And did you sexists ponder where the father was in this "moving" story? Educate women have long known: "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament". Tebow's mom made the only choice she could - prison or childbirth. It's the 'pro-life' hypocrites who "love the fetus hate the child" - if they were truly 'pro-life' - they would ADOPT - none of these FOF ghouls actually 'chose life'! So fitting.

People on here say that she didn't have a choice since abortion was illegal where she was living at the time. Sure she had a choice. She could have flown to America or any country offering abortions.

It's amazing that anyone could be offended by this commercial. Well done, Focus on the Family. Next time, let's show the "silent scream" video. You know, where the ultrasound shows the 12 week old baby squirming to escape the needle? Or better yet... why don't they have a commercial showing the actual procedure of partial-birth abortion (after all... Obama would like to make legal!!) Unbelievable... pro-abortion people lecture pro-lifers about the "mother's rights". What about the rights of the innocent babies?

  • Max 2 years ago

So lets say a pregnant woman needs a late term abortion to save her life. Abortion means to terminate the pregnancy. Why is is necessary to kill the baby as well? Hmmmmm? The truth is that abortion is all about escaping Motherhood through infanticide. If you are religious you think it is wrong. If you are not, then you think it is ok. No one wants to kill a baby do they? No. So we kill "fetuses." After all who wants to have a fetus growing inside them? IF you change the meaning of words you can do almost anything. Dehumanize them then kill them. Dehumanize them and then enslave them. Rename them, and then kill them. Did you know if you kill a pregnant woman you will be charged with two murders? Oh, now its a baby?! How do we deny life support to a human being?

If God is real, and the Bible is true, and everyone who has ever lived has to stand before Jesus Christ and be judged on who and how they believed, then you better know your God and what He says, not some politician, preacher or mr. or ms. knows it all.

  • Marcy 2 years ago

Great commercial. Very well done; I believe just the same peaceful and loving spirit that Jesus would have portrayed himself if were being filmed. There was no condemnation here---just a spirit of peace and truth. I am praying for those who are having challenges understanding God's word and His great love. He truly cares and mourns over this lost and suffering world.

  • djsymons 2 years ago

since the doctor felt the baby was a tumor, and not an actual baby, it would not have been considered an abortion, and therefor totally legal.

  • djsymons 2 years ago

so yes. she had a choice. And praise God it was the right one.

  • Philip Reed Moran 1 year ago

Thoughtful on the ad. But merely futile. Look closely at a rational argument’s need for at least two sides. Fact is, all people—all of who made it through the birth process—thinking back, universally reject abortion advocacy for their person. There are no two sides; that includes the folk who imagine they approve of abortion, to them the greatest advance since invention of the square wheel. Reality is, they or you and I wouldn’t concede Mama the right to have aborted any one of us--even abortion promoters universally respect life (their own, if not young ‘un's). This worldwide rejection of our own personal abortion gives no one a right ethically, morally or even just humanly to ambush the littlelings-to-be coming down the birth pike.
