The fans of Tim Tebow were watching closely on Monday night during the Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards. The famous quarterback of the Denver Broncos was with a very special young lady who got the chance to meet the media before the show. Presley Collins, is only 10, but the young woman had a special wish to meet up with Tim Tebow and what better way to do it than on the “Green Carpet” of the award show. Yep, Presley Collins was Tim Tebows special date.
Presli Collins was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis-1 in 2008, but battling a genetic disorder was the farthest thing from her mind at the show. Dressed in a beautiful pink gown, the young starlet walked with Tim Tebow in front of all the photographers on the green carpet and even got the chance to meet Shaq!
Presley Collins has returned home after the show (it was pretaped on Saturday night,) but the experience of hanging with Tim Tebow was definitely one she won’t forget. On the Facebook page updating the trip called Pray for Presli, it shared how much the child was inspired.
“A HUGE THANK YOU to the Tim Tebow Foundation, Tim's Wish 15 Foundation, Tim Tebow and his incredible team. As a father of someone who has gone through too much in her young life, I saw a smile on her face today that was brighter than the lights that shined on the pair as they walked the carpet.”
Perhaps the smile on Presley Collins face was big, but those in attendance on Saturday night who helped make the child’s dream come true had a big smile too. Seeing the courage the child had to fight her illness, everyone felt that Presley was an extremely special child.
