Tim Tebow rumors are running rampant. Tebow rumors to the Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams, and even Chicago Bears have surfaced during the past week. According to a report from ABC News late Monday (Oct. 21), an internal discussion was taken place by the Rams that brought up the former New York Jets and Denver Broncos quarterback. With Sam Bradford down for the season with a torn ACL, the team has to figure out something very quickly.
The Rams might make a lot of sense for the free agent quarterback, especially since the team is so focused on having a strong defense. Trying something new on offense might help the team make a run at one of the NFC wild card slots. The scenario is the same for the Browns, as the team tries to find something that resembles consistency on offense. He has been a rumored option to sign there since he got released by the New England Patriots in the preseason.
There was also some talk of the Chicago Bears popping up in Tim Tebow rumors after Jay Cutler injured his groin. Josh McCown sure stepped up nicely against the Washington Redskins on Sunday (Oct. 20), even though the team ended up losing 45-41. Despite all this talk going on, there doesn't appear to be a real contract offer on the table. If one did surface, it could once again make him an interesting option to spot-start in fantasy football leagues.
