Through two weeks of the 2013 NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are sitting with an 0-2 record after losing 19-9 to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Well, that isn't acceptable, and the Jags' fans are planning on holding a "Tim Tebow Rally" on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, with the hopes that management will bring in the free agent quarterback, according to ESPN.
On 3:16 p.m. ET, fans will hold a rally in the Everbank Field parking lot. During the schedule three hour and 16 minute rally, the Jaguars' fans hope to encourage the signing of Tebow to the team.
A group of Jaguars' fans have even created a website called jags-tebow.com. They've got a mission statement and everything:
"Make it clear, we the fans, want the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring in Tim Tebow. You know you want to see this happen."
They want to show the Jaguars front office that they want Tebow to fill the empty seats at the stadium. There are picture examples of such things on the site as well.
In the opening game of the season, the Jaguars lost 28-2 to the Kansas City Chiefs. Losing to the Raiders appeared to be the last straw for a great number of fans and that is why they want to do something about it with the "Tim Tebow Rally."
