Is there a Tim Tebow return to the NFL on the horizon? When it comes to Tebow, you can never say never. According to a report on June 2, Tebow says he is in better shape than ever and his skills have improved tremendously. Whether or not all of that is true, the real question is would a team give Tebow a shot?

The 26 year-old former Heisman Trophy winner is taking on a new career this fall. Tebow will be working for ESPN as an analyst for the newly formed SEC Network. Even though he will be calling college football games this August, if an opportunity for a tryout with a NFL team arose you can bet Tebow would jump at the chance.

After looking like he would make the New England Patriots squad last fall, the Pats made Tebow one of their final cuts last preseason. Since then, Tebow has always said he would love a chance togo the NFL one more time. According to Tebow, he is more than ready for his shot.

"I'm training every day and feel like I'm the best that I've ever been," Tebow told The Tennessean. "I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I'm just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I'm excited about it, though."

It will be interesting to see if a team would give Tebow a shot this fall. On the positive side, the huge following Tebow has for his charity work with children and others could be a good PR move for a team to pick him up. Of course NFL teams don't need much PR because the sport is so big. All that teams care about are wins and losses - which makes Tebow's case for a comeback even more interesting.

Like it or not, all Tebow did was win, in college and the NFL. When Tebow took over for the million dollar bust that was Kyle Orton in 2011, he wasn't ready to be a starter in the NFL. Yet after being thrown into the role he led the Broncos to seven wins in eight games over one stretch in taking over a 1-4 team and leading them to the playoffs, and a win over the Steelers in the Wildcard round.

After being traded to the Jets the following season, no one really knows if Tebow could perform well or not, since he rarely played. Do you think Tebow could return to the NFL and be successful?
