Tim Tebow house: Is million dollar purchase a sign he will play for the Jags?

The days of Tim Tebow with a microphone in hand are fast approaching, but for now, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, who was selected in the first round of the 2010 Draft, still hopes to have another chance in the NFL as a player. Although Tebow has been hired by ESPN to be an analyst on the SEC Network, which launches in August, he is staying in shape if that opportunity comes at some point. "I train every day and feel I am the best I've ever been," he told The Tennessean in a recent interview. He continued..."I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I'm just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I'm excited about it, though."

The Jacksonville Daily Record announced on July 14 that Tim Tebow is coming to Jacksonville, but not as a member of the Jaguars as some would have hoped.

Duval County Property Appraiser records confirm that Tebow purchased a house on North Swilican Bridge Lane for $1.4 million on June 27 from David J. Bailey and Virginia M. Bailey. The home, which was built in 2000, has five bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths and is 6,525 square feet, according to Multiple Listing Service data. It last sold in 2009 for $1.375 million.

The purchase has some wondering if Tebow is in talks with the Jags for a possible spot on the team. However, this has not been confirmed as of yet.

Tebow's football prowess began to show at Nease High School, where he was a standout quarterback. After 4 successful high school years, he went on to study at the University of Florida and played for the Gators, where he received the Heisman Trophy.

He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010 and he eventually led the Broncos to the playoffs. However, Tebow was traded to the New York Jets in 2012, and was later cut from the New England Patriots practice squad in 2013.

The figure of Tim Tebow has taken many turns over the years in everything that revolves around the league. In the NFL, everything about quarterbacks is usually highlighted in media outlets, and in Tebow's case, it's the most notorious in recent years.
