Tim Tebow getting interest from Arena Team

So Tim Tebow right now is in New York Jets limbo. Technically he is still property of the jets, but it's only a matter of time before it is official and both parties can move on.

When that does happen, other teams will come looking to see if Tebow can fit anywhere in their current system.

Well a team is doing that now but it's not an NFL team. The Arena Football League's Orlando Predators are showing some interest in Tebow.

"Tim would certainly want to first exhaust his opportunities in the NFL, but we’d love to have him," Predators president Brett Bouchy told Orlando Sentinel, via ESPNNewYork.com. "I think he would definitely improve as a quarterback in our league. Kurt Warner told me once that when he got back to the NFL after playing in the Arena League, the NFL game was like slow motion. Everything in the Arena League is just so much faster and quicker and predicated on accuracy. Whenever Tim is willing, we have a contract waiting for him to sign."

While this may not be the right time, it may be a path for Tebow to explore. While accuracy may be an issue for him and won't magically be fixed by going to the Arena League, any experience on the field would help him immensely.

If he doesn't get any interest from any NFL teams, the Arena League may be his next stop. The Jets want to trade him, but it doesn't appear that there has been much interest around the league. The next step would be for Tebow to be cut. He will then have to receive a chance from another team who will be willing to deal with the Tebow circus that follows.
