It's been a while since there has been new music from country superstar Tim McGraw. His last studio album Let It Go was released in March 2007. Since that time, fans have had to be happy with a third Greatest Hits album, which had no newly recorded material, but two previously recorded tracks ("Find Out Who Your Friends Are" and "Nine Lives"). "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" was a compilation with Tracy Lawrence and Kenny Chesney, and could be found on Tracy's For the Love album, while "Nine Lives" was a collaboration with rock band Def Leppard. The album also included a live version of "Real Good Man."

At the time that Greatest Hits 3 was released, Tim expressed his displeasure with Curb Records, for having released the album, rather than new music.

The first single from Southern Voice will be released digitally to radio stations today, according to AllAboutCountry.com. The single is entitled "It's a Business Doing Pleasure With You." The song was written by Brett James and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. The song is an up-tempo tongue-in-cheek song about the price of love.
