Tim McGraw's new song Truck Yeah hit radio on July 3rd, 2012 and when it did, it made quite a big first impression. Truck Yeah is the highest debuting single that Tim McGraw has ever had in his entire music career. With over 20 years experience in country music and over 40 million albums sold, the fact that Tim McGraw is still breaking personal records is amazing.
Truck Yeah is the first single by Tim McGraw since signing with his new record label, Big Machine Records. After a drawn-out contract violation battle with his former label, Curb Records, in 2011, Tim McGraw was finally able to sign with Big Machine in May of 2012. There's no doubt Tim McGraw's new song is making record executives at Big Machine very happy they signed him.
Truck Yeah debuted at number 22 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart, the highest debut Tim McGraw has ever celebrated. While many country music songs venture into a pop cross over these days, Tim McGraw definitely kept it country with the lyrics to Truck Yeah. With lyrics that appeal to the tried-and-true country crowd, it looks like Truck Yeah will drive Tim McGraw right on up the charts with yet another in a long list of big hits.
