Tim McGraw debuts ‘City Lights’ on ‘The Voice’

Tim McGraw shared a little country with America on Tuesday night during “The Voice” finale. One of the performances the fans got to see before the winner of the competition was announced, it was a great opportunity to hear new country music. According to Taste of Country on Tuesday, Tim McGraw’s excitement continues to build as his upcoming album Sundown Heaven Town approaches.

The fans of “The Voice” were definitely appreciative of hearing “City Lights” from Tim McGraw. The lucky souls who got to hear the music live were out of their chairs and swaying along (and the folks at home were tempted to do the same too.) Looking to bring a touch of all the different music to the stage, “The Voice” seemed like a perfect place for McGraw and his cowboy hat to call home and perform.

Tim McGraw is looking to share his music with the fans as he has a new album coming out called Sundown Heaven Town. Offering up new hits and great vocals, the fans are excited to see the star is sharing new music and the debuted single was released on iTunes shortly after it was performed live on the Hollywood show. Tim is expected to go on tour over the summer as well.

The list of entertainers was extraordinary for “The Voice” finale. Robin Thicke, Coldplay, Alabama, OneRepublic and Ed Sheeran also performed before the winner of the competition was announced. While some might suggest that listening to so much music before the final announcement might be tough, Tim McGraw and the other entertainers made it out to be a mini concert and fans reaped the audio rewards.
