Tim McGraw headed to Facebook to say thank you to his fans by posting a picture of himself with Keith Urban on Aug. 22, 2013 that was taken during the number one celebration of “Highway Don’t Care” saying “Hanging with Keith at the Highway Don't Care #1 party … thanks to all the fans for helping us get there!” McGraw also shared the details about the party on his website on Aug. 21, 2013.
The celebration for McGraw’s latest number one single took place in Nashville, Tenn. at Music City Tippler which marked 34 number one songs for McGraw. Keith Urban joined the celebration for “Highway Don’t Care” along with songwriters Brett Warren, Brad Warren, Mark Irwin and Scott Borchetta from Big Machine Records which is the record label McGraw and Taylor Swift call home.
Tim McGraw teamed up with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban to record the hit “Highway Don’t Care” and said thank you to the writers that created “Highway Don’t Care” when he took the stage during the celebration by saying “There are people at the 7-11 who can sing better than I can," adding "but there aren't a lot of great songwriters" according to CMT. The song landing in the top spot also marks McGraw’s second number one single from his latest album “Two Lanes of Freedom.”
McGraw continued to say thank you to the writers of the song Josh Kear, Mark Irwin, Brett Warren and Brad Warren posting “In Nashville we say it all starts with a song -- congrats to Brett, Brad, Josh and Mark!!” after the celebration took place on his Twitter page.
