Tim Burton, a born and bred Southern Californian from Burbank, is responsible for some of the best eccentric classic films of our time such as Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Mars Attacks!, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, Batman Returns, and Alice in Wonderland, just to name a few. The list goes on and on. All his films are dramatic, inventive, artistic, and entirely satisfying to the senses, which makes this artist/director/writer and his works easily admired.

For the many Los Angeles fans of Mr. Burton, there is an event you won’t want to miss. This Saturday, May 28th Tim Burton will be making a book signing appearance at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Wilshire Boulevard in the Pavilion for Japanese Art. There are no fees or reservations to be made. Just get in line and get there early. He will be signing exhibition catalogues and Art of Tim Burton, which can be purchased at any LACMA store or online here along with many Tim Burton inspired items. There will be a 2 book per person limit on signing and a receipt from the LACMA store is required as proof of purchase.
