Tillamook Sandwich Week hits Salt Lake City

To celebrate two of the all-time tastiest foods, sandwiches and cheese, Tillamook Cheese’s Loaf Love Tour, is returning to the Salt Lake City area. Tillamook has partnered with four local restaurants for Sandwich Week. Each spot is offering a cheesy sandwich special featuring award-winning Tillamook Cheese from August 27th-September 3rd.
 
Here is where you can enjoy the signature creations:
 
Cheesy Club Sandwich – Local Utah turkey, local honey cured bacon, Tillamook medium and monterey jack cheese, heirloom tomatoes, local lettuce, champagne vinaigrette, served on local wheat bread with a house cured pickle and local organic mixed green salad with lemon vinaigrette & balsamic reduction ($12)

Toasted Tillamook Cheddar Sandwich – This toasted cheddar sandwich features Tillamook sharp cheddar and grilled Utah peaches and ham and is served with a choice of soup or salad.  Lunch only. ($11)
 
Gourmandise’ Roasted Red Pepper Sandwich with Tillamook Monterey Jack, Goat Cheese and Fresh Basil - Roasted red peppers are marinated in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and finely-chopped green olives and then set atop a piece of ciabatta smeared lightly with goat cheese.  A layer of fresh basil leaves, thinly-sliced red onions and a slice of Tillamook Monterey Jack. ($7.95) Full; ($5.95) Half
 
Tillamook Monterey Jack Chicken Philly ($6.49) – Little Dave’s Deli will also be featuring a homemade Tillamook Cheddar and Broccoli soup during Sandwich Week.
