Tila Tequila Vs. Shawne Merriman, the lawsuit
Tila Tequila is now suing her ex-boyfriend Shawne Merriman over assault accusations, TMZ has reported. Tila is reportedly seeking a unspecified amount of money for assault, battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress that Merriman caused her. Tila's lawyer, Cyrus Nownejad has provided photos showing bruises on Tila's body as proof of the damage Merriman caused.
In September, Merriman allegedly choked Tila and threw her to the ground after a argument. Merriman was arrested after the incident, however, San Diego District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis later dismissed the charges against him.
Tila alleges that Merriman had a bad temper and a drug problem. She also felt he was embarrassed that she is bi-sexual.
Merriman's lawyer claimed that his client did not try and choke Tila. According to the lawyer, Tila was "extremely inebriated" at the time and Merriman was simply trying to stop her from leaving for her safety.
Tila Tequila going on tour in Germany and Istanbul, Turkey
In other Tila Tequila news, she excited announced on Twitter last night that she is going on tour in Germany and Istanbul, Turkey. Hot Rod and Tila will perform "I like to ****" on stage for the first time during the shows.
