Tigers season ends at Houlton

Houlton, Me--- The Houlton Shiretowners had four players finish in double figures as they cruised to a 49-34 girls class C preliminary round victory over the Dexter Tigers on Tuesday evening. 

Houlton scored the final nine points of the first quarter to take a 12-5 lead. They extended the lead to 24-13 at the half. 

Sam Keegan led the Shiretowners with 15 points. Tori Hanson put in 12. Amanda Fogarty and Marina Cameron chipped in with 10 each. Houlton (13-6) advances to the Bangor Auditorium to take on top ranked Orono in a quarterfinal game scheduled for Tuesday, February 21st at 3:30 PM.

Lauren Crane led the Tigers with a game high 22 points. Dexter ends the season with a 10-9 record.
