Tiger Woods' Vicodin and Ambien use has him 'dancing with the devil' (poll)
Howard Stern Show sidekick and addict-in-residence
Artie Lange weighed in on the
Tiger Woods situation on Tuesday morning's edition of The Howard Stern Show. As Howard Stern Show news mistress
Robin Quivers shared details about
Tiger Woods' apparent combined use of the drugs Ambien and Vicodin on the night of his car accident, Artie Lange warned that the world class athlete-turned-gigolo-of-the-year is headed down a dangerous road.
"Ambien and Vicodin?" asked Artie Lange who returned to work Tuesday after taking Monday off from the Howard Stern Show to deal with his own substance abuse recovery issues. "You're dancing with the devil with those two."
Artie Lange should know. The mega-successful comedian and Howard Stern Show co-host snorted heroin for four years, and regularly came to work at the Howard Stern Show high before admitting to his addiction on air in 2007.
Robin Quivers' Tuesday morning report on Tiger Woods' infamous slow-speed car accident included new details about Woods' wife Elin Nordegren notifying hospital staff that her husband was using both the painkiller Vicodin and the sleep aid Ambien on the night of the accident.
Howard Stern Show cast members went on to speculate as to whether or not Tiger Woods could face DUI charges if the rumors of his prescription drug use on the night in question are true.
Popping Vicodin like candy? Getting into slow speed car crashes? Banging sleazy broads in Las Vegas? Artie Lange better not call in sick to the Howard Stern Show for a while. Tiger Woods might be just the Artie Lange replacement everyone's been waiting for.
