Tiger Woods may not be the only star of his family - it is now being reported that his wife Elin Woods is very close to signing a deal with Puma - a major competitor to Nike.
TMZ reports: "an official from Puma -- the athletic wear company -- has confirmed they are in 'internal discussions' to sign Elin as a spokesperson for a new Swedish-inspired clothing line called Tretorn." The rep added that Elin is: "a good brand fit."
In other Woods news, Accenture has dropped their endorsement deal with Tiger Woods, but Nike is standing by him. Accenture said in a statement: "After careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising." According to the Wall Street Jounal, an agent for Tiger Woods released a statement following Accenture's decision. Mark Steinberg said: "We are disappointed but respect their decision. That is all I have to say to you."
Nike said in a statement that Woods has been a part of the company and will continue to be, and that he has their full support. Nike said: "Tiger has been part of Nike for more than a decade. He is the best golfer in the world and one of the greatest athletes of his era. We look forward to his return to golf," the sportswear and equipment supplier tells Usmagazine.com in a statement. "He and his family have Nike's full support."

I just bought a pair of Puma shoes! I wonder if Elin does sue for divorce if she could claim tort damages for reckless sexual behavior without protection which could endanger her life and health (AIDS, STD, etc.). Tiger has a huge value struggle to prove to her (and to himself) that he is strong enough to be the man she thought she married.

Classy, intellegent and a LADY with morals. How refreshing to see a wife not tolerating her husband Cheating, lieing, and deceiving. If he wanted to play 'Man Ho Will Travel' he should have not married her...or at the least warned her of his true intentions and let her decide if she could live like that. Obviously ELin took her marriage vows seriously. CHEETAH DID NOT.
